1.Light Transmission

Under standard thickness, the transmittance of FRP usually ranges from 60% to 85%.
• Professional advice: It is not necessarily the higher the transmittance, the better. Industrial buildings need "diffuse reflection" to avoid the high temperature caused by direct sunlight in summer and visual fatigue from shadow.
2. UV Resistance:
• The surface of high-quality shading tiles must be covered with a nominal UV-resistant film of 20 microns or more (such as DuPont Melinex 301).
• Function: It blocks over 99% of ultraviolet rays, protecting indoor equipment and delaying the fiberization and discoloration of the tiles themselves.
3. Thermal Resistance and Mechanical Strength:
• Working temperature: High-quality FRP can maintain its physical properties stable within the range of -40°C to 120°C.
• Tensile strength: The cross arrangement of glass fibers gives it extremely high impact resistance, effectively blocking hail or falling objects from high altitudes.
III. Production Process: Continuous Forming Technology
Modern shading tiles use a fully automatic continuous pultrusion production line:
1. Immersion: The resin and fibers are fully combined.
2. Temperature-controlled curing: After passing through an ultra-long constant temperature oven, the resin curing degree reaches over 90% (the higher the curing degree, the harder the tile and the better its aging resistance).
3. Precise cutting: According to customer requirements (such as matching the profile of colored stone tiles or color steel tiles), it is cut to a fixed length.

Through large-area natural lighting, more than 60% of the lights in the factory can be turned off during the day, significantly reducing electricity costs.

In high-corrosion environments such as chemical plants and fertilizer plants, FRP shading tiles will not rust or oxidize like metal tiles.
• 3. Good visual comfort:
High-quality shading tiles can convert intense direct light into soft diffused light, reducing glare and improving workers' working efficiency.
V. Professional Tips for Installation and Maintenance
• Compatibility: The profile of shading tiles must be completely consistent with the matching roof tiles (such as the edge of colored stone tiles or the profile of color steel tiles), otherwise, leakage is very likely to occur.
• Pre-treatment of hole opening: Before installing the screws, the hole must be expanded. The hole diameter should be 2-3mm larger than the screw diameter to absorb the displacement caused by thermal expansion and contraction and prevent the tiles from cracking.
• Sealing: High-quality neutral silicone sealant or special waterstop tape must be used. Acidic glue is strictly prohibited to avoid corroding the edge of the tiles.
